I began surf lifesaving when my family moved from Orange to the Gold Coast when I was in primary school. I can’t say I was a natural in the water but once I started board paddling I loved it.
I became more competitive in U14’s whilst training under Tim Peach and from there progressed into Michael King’s squad. I loved my time at Currumbin – such a great club.
Once I realised my passion was the ski I decided to make the move to Northcliffe to train under Naomi Flood. I knew she was the best coach for me training the top females in the sport. I love everything about my squad and the club. Training under Floody and beside the likes of Harriet, Georgia, D Mack and Sculley makes you constantly work harder to be better.
Racing in the Nutrigrain Series this year will definitely be a highlight for me. I am also looking forward to studying Biomedical Science at Bond University in hopes to study medicine in the future.
