TESTIMONIAL
I started paddling on a BOS ski when I was 14. I’d seen some of the top athletes of this sport paddle them and I knew it was the right way to go …. I haven’t looked back. Unfortunately, my ski got badly damaged in some crazy surf conditions at the 2022 Shannon Eckstein classic in the Open Iron final, so a new ski was on the cards. That and being selected for NZ Junior Worlds team required a ‘cry out’ to Reece in the hope he could make up a new one as soon as possible so I didn’t have any down time from training. He came through with the goods and my new ski has served me well – performs really well, is super responsive and looks perfect!! Reece has always been supportive and keen to see me develop my skills and move forward with the sport. I know he’s only a phone call away should I need any assistance.
It’s an honour to be considered a BOS ambassador.

My family and friends have always had a huge impact on my life. Dad started my love for the water, getting me on a surfboard when I was a young grom. He’d paddle along side of me, teaching and building my skills and confidence in the ocean.
I started my surf club journey at Mermaid Beach SLSC in U8’s where I used to cry before every Sunday morning Nipper session. It was here and in the years that followed that I met some of my best friends to date and my love for the sport began to grow. Towards the end of 2022 I made the move to Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park where I’m training under Michael King and aiming to fulfill my goal of making the Nutri-Grain Series in the future. I’m not afraid of hard work and will continue to push even when the going gets tough. I love the outdoors, the ocean and all the adventures these bring.
Outside of the sport, I’m in my last year of school. After this, I’m keen to do some more international racing and travel before beginning university.
