I bought my first BOS ski when I was 16 years old and haven’t looked back. The amount of time and effort that goes into making each ski is unmatched, and the after-sale support is second to none.
Reece and the team at BOS have always gone above and beyond my expectation whether it’s to do with the design of my ski or supporting my paddling ventures.
I have a fond memory of being on the line of my first Coolangatta Gold race back in 2014 and Reece came down to check not only my ski, but everyone else’s ski on the line whether they paddled a BOS or not. That’s just the kind of person he is.

Personal Profile
I grew up in Shellharbour on the South Coast of NSW where I started nippers at the age of 10 at Shellharbour SLSC. At age 14 I learnt to paddle a clubby ski before advancing into a K1 where I spent many Winter mornings swimming in Minnamurra River.
After a few years of training and saving up, I bought a 2nd hand BOS where I won the U17 country ski title in Mollymook. From then I was hooked on paddling. Over the years I have tried my hand at marathon kayaking, sprint kayaking and ocean ski paddling. All requiring different skills and training which I love.
Off the water I studied a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics Honors (part time) whilst also lifeguarding full time for a few years before applying for a job with Sydney Trains in 2021 as a trainee train driver. Last year, in 2022, I moved to Sydney for work and to begin my new chapter where I have met new people and have started exploring the Sydney coastline (by paddling of course!). I just recently graduated from train driver school and can’t wait to get back into some proper training, racing, and travel.
My number one supporter is my brother Tyson who has Down Syndrome. He absolutely loves the water too. Recently I bought a double ocean ski and he loves to jump in the back (for a “row, row, row your boat”) whilst I paddle him around and drop him off for the occasional swim. My Mum also loves to paddle in the double too. I think it’s great to get people involved in paddling to not only experience the beauty of the oceans and waterways, but also for the social and active aspects as well.
