I enjoy all sports as well as camping and surfing. I’m always up for an adventure.
I bought my first ski second hand when I was 15, and when it needed a repair, we drove down to Reece who got it running again. When I was ready to upgrade, I knew I wanted to get a BOS. I loved customising the ski to match my board and BOS skis are built to survive beatings from big surf and the other competitors at the cans. The paddler has total control and can get the ski moving swiftly out and in through the break and around the cans, no matter what the conditions are like. I love the after sales service and Reece is a friendly face, happy to help out if the ski needs some TLC.
Aussies on the Gold Coast in 2022 was my first season on the BOS ski and the upgrade showed. It was big surf with a challenging current. In the single ski event, I won my heat and moved on through the rounds to the finals where, unfortunately, I had an unlucky start and came in 11th.

Personal Profile
I started surf lifesaving as an under 6 nipper and have been involved since. I’m at Shelly Beach on the Central Coast. I always thought I wanted to be an iron man until I was introduced to ski paddling. I loved it and started kayaking to aid my performance. Now, my main event that I focus on in the surf is the single ski.
Once I was part of Avoca Kayak Club and competing in sprint Kayak, I was introduced to wildwater kayaking. We took trips as a club to rivers in Victoria and rural NSW. I competed in 2 National Wildwater competitions and made the Australian team both times. My first international event was the 2023 Wildwater World Championships in the Czech Republic. My goal is to make the 2028 Olympics for sprint kayak.
One of my favourite things to do is to go on camping trips, especially when it is with my surf club or my kayak club mates to train or compete at different beaches and rivers. Mostly I train at Avoca on the lake, but try to get some surf sessions in each week plus 4 gym sessions. It’s a busy schedule around studying for my HSC, but I think it is worth it.
